Popular singer booked under POSCO Act

GUWAHATI: Angarag Mahanta lands in controversy after the popular singer allegedly kissed a minor girl forcing the Nation Commission for Protection of Child Rights to book him under POSCO Act.
Popularly known as Papon, the award winning singer found it very painful to have been  caught in the controversy since his intention was in way objectionable. “Those who know me well can say what I am,” tweeted the singer.
People in different walks have different opinions in Assam.
His fans say that the allegations are unwanted which would upset the singer while some others call it a fit case of sexual abuse.
