KOHIMA: Sensing an unprecedented constitutional crisis, the political parties in Nagaland have resolved to boycott the upcoming assembly polls slated for February 27.
An all party meeting in Kohima cleared the resolution saying that without implementing the Naga peace frame work to settle the political problem they would not participate in the assembly polls.
The meeting has conveyed their strong message to the Centre and the Election Commission which a couple of days back announced the poll schedule.
A couple of weeks back chief minister TR Zeliang called on home minister Rajnath Singh in Delhi and demanded the implementation of the peace frame work before the polls. But the Centre made it clear that the polls will hold as per schedule.
