Theory of political conspiracy in Dhola!

MONGOLDOI:A nefarious political conspiracy is behind the recent clash between police and protesters in Dhola where two protestors were killed in police firing. This was more or less of what two ministers said in Dhola a day after the duo were on a stock taking visit to the trouble torn semi urban area in Darrang district.


Porimal Suklavaidya and Rihon Daimary who visited the area on Thursday told the reporters that the entire uncident might be a conspiracy for political mileage.

"This is what we think. Now we can't disclose anything. The ongoing probe will ascertain the real factors behind the incident," said the ministers after they visited the bereaved family members of the deceased.

After as assessment of the law and order situation with civil and police heavyweights, the ministers attended the burials of the two protestors.

The authority has relaxed curfew in the afternoon for a couple of hours in the absence of fresh stray incidents. We are strictly monitoring the situation and are fully prepared to firmly deal with any law and order situation. We will lift curfew as soon as normalcy is restored," said a senior district administrative officer.
