Action against AIUDF MLA

Stunned by the disturbing development for the Opposition camp just 12 hours before the Rajya Sabha polls on Friday, AIUDF has decided to expel its legislator Ataur Rahman Majarbhuyan.

The decision took a final shape at a meeting of the party legislators on Thursday after it became clear that the MLA now in Abu Dhabai is all set to shy away from voting to help the Congress and BPF win the polls.

Party president Badaruddin Ajmal told reporters that he would be expelled from the party. He alleged that Majarbhyuan has struck deal with a senior Congress minister along with a former BJP MLA.
