DIBRUGARH: Amid a mammoth security arrangement, the Goalpara police have departed Dibrugarh early in the morning with Akhil Gogoi whom they arrested on Friday after the KMSS leader procured bail in a case pending against him in Moran Police station.
The huge police team from Dudhnoi who arrived in Dibrigarh on Friday left for Goalpara at 8 in the morning. Gogoi would be kept in Dudhnoi police station for the night and on Sunday only he would be produced before the CJM court.
Gogoi was arrested in connection with a case in Dudhnoi where he allegedly instigated his supporters to remove the signboard of the Dindayal Upadhyay College.
