HC ruling on Akhil’s bail on Wednesday

GUWAHATI: The Gauhati High Court on Wednesday will decide on the fate of Akhil Gogoi when it would be clearing the ruling on the bail petition moved by the KMSS leader who was arrested under the National Security Act three months back. The court heard the petition and fixed December 20 as the date for clearing the ruling on Gogoi’s bail plea. KMSS leaders and workers hope Gogoi would be able to procure bail since his arrest under NSA was unwanted. He was arrested under NSA a couple of days after he openly urged the people to remain prepared for armed struggle.
