Facelift for historic Dhodar Ali in Namrup

After lying in a shamble for a couple of years Dhodar Ali gets a major facelift in Namrup. Local legislator Naren Sonowal laid the foundation stone of the repair project at a brief function in APL Main Gate on Thursday.

In his speech, Sonowal said the historic road connection Golaghat to Dibrugarh will be the lifeline of the state's economy. He said the ₹71lakh project would be a huge boost in the road network for Namrup, where the people have been bearing the brunt of the dilapidated condition.
