Science exhibition begins at Tangla

A two day science exhibition has been organized at Tangla from October 23.The science exhibition is organized by Arunodoi Academy,Tangla on the occasion of three day 13th Foundation Day celebration of the school.Bhaben Deuri,Inspector of Schools,Udalguri district formally inaugurated the science cum arts exhibition at 10 am.Speaking on the occasion School Inspector Udalguri district thanked Arunodoi Academy for motivating school students for displaying talents in scientific activities. He expressed happiness to interact with the students participants who were displaying various innovative science models.Talking to students and teachers Deuri said that display of science models prepared by the would help in creating scientific temperament among students community.Two hundred and fifty numbers of students participated in the science model exhibition with one hundred working science models.The inaugural ceremony was attended by Pranabjyoti Das, principal Arunodoi Junior College,Tangla;Napoleon Daimari, principal,Arunodoi Academy,Tangla;Jayanta Das,District Coordinator, Aryabhatta Science Centre, Udalguri;Wildlife biologist Anjan Sangma,journalists-Diganta Sarma,Bapan Sarma, Dhaneswar Rabha,Shajid Khan etc.Principal of Arunodoi Academy,Tangla also announced the formation of school unit of Scouts and Guides group on the occasion. The Scout and Guides group has been supervised by Bhajan Sarkar, District Commissioner,Scouts and Guide Udalguri district unit under the guidance of Barnabas Purty.Another exhibition of Arts and crafts and wildlife photography was also arranged at the school premises to be continued till October 25.
