Coaching for National Tchoukball championship concludes

 A 50-day coaching camp for the Assam state Tchoukball was concluded on Monday at Haltugaon Tinali in Kokrajhar district.

Altogether 24-players were participated across the state in the camp both for men and women team,who are selected to participate in the ensuing national championship  scheduled to be held with three-day programme scheduled from September 25 to 27 at Joypukhuri Bodofa Youth Club ground in Golaghat district.

The camp has been organized by All Assam Tchoukball Association and players are being imparted training by Tchoukball expert on sporting technique, shooting and its management during the competition games. The camp was concluded on Monday with a closing function and was started from July 28.The state players have given away training on various aspects of Tchoukball games.

Brajendra Basumatary,chairman of Debargaon TCLCC graced as chief guest in the function. He has extended best wishes to all participants in the scheduled national event to be held at Golaghat.

Ashok Goyary, general secretary of the association told that the Assam state team of the Tchoukball has been named to participate in the national event beginning from September 25. He said that Assam state team is fully prepared for the event with strong spirit.He has told that the national championship will held in Golaghat  and so far 20 states like Goa, Kerala, Bihar, Uttarakandh, Punjab, Delhi, Maharastra and so on including Assam are confirmed for participation in the championship.

 Goyary said that ever since the sport was recognized by the Sports Federation of India (SFI) as many as 20 states are playing this game in the country and also in many school.

‘The Assam state team are fully prepared to participate in the national event. The coaching camp has been conducted to make players fully prepared and gain self efficiency while participating in the competition’, said Goyary.
Bithubiten Kerkatary, coach of the camp has been imparted training in the camp. He said that Assam state has a potentiality of sporting as youths are participating with enthusiastic mood in the camp that has been initiated by Tchoukball association. Participants are being given training and knowledge on Tchoukball on how it is being played in a competition manner in the national sporting arena . He said that Assam team is complete prepared to participate the national event.

Ansula Boro, captain of the men team said that we have been coaching since July to participate in the Golaghat national championship to be held from September 25. He said that team is totally prepared for the championship.
 'We hope, we will win the championship by showing our excellent game's spirits', he said.

Dwimu Boro, women’s team captain said that we are waiting the scheduled of the national event as we are absolutely prepared to participate. 'Come the national event where we will represent the Assam team', she said.
