The Committee constituted by the government in connection with ensuring protection of land rights of indigenous people will meet the stakeholders of Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao Districts on September 11 and 12 respectively as part of its field visit programme.
Set up by the government led by HSBrahma, the Committee has already visited different districts of the State and interacted with various stakeholders, including citizens, Government Gaonburhas, Mouzadars, MPs, MLAs and Social Workers etc.
