Compartmental examination conducted in Kokrajhar

The compartmental examination of High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC)/Assam High Madrassa (AHM) -2017 has been conducted under strict supervision of CCTV as well vigil security in three examination centres in Kokrajhar district,which has began from Thursday along with rest of the state. Parent/guardians express their happiness over the compartmental examination that has been conducted after long years in the state.

Nearly 3300 candidates are seated in the compartmental examination in the district, which have conducted in three centres in Kokrajhar district, namely Kokrajhar Girls HS School, Gossaigaon HS School and Debitola High School.   The examination has been put strict servilence of CCTV  as well vigil security arrangement as per guideline reached from SEBA in the examaination centres. The examination centres are fully prepared for holding in free and fair manner in the district, said an officer in-charge at Kokrajhar Girls HS school examination centre.

 ‘Students are attending the examination with enthusistic mood as SEBA has been conducting the compartmental examination after long years in the state’, she said.

 Parent and guardians of the candidates express their gladiness as SEBA has conducted the compartmental examination,those who have failed in the HSLC examinations that held in February/March last.

 ‘The compartmental examiation has been giving an opportunity for the students to gain educational enviornment in the state as huge failed students are getting opportunity to seat again in the HSLC/AHM final examination.This time students will be scoring better results other than previous examination’, said guardians.

Kokrajhar district is grappling with a significant malaria outbreak, with 1,991 cases reported up to November 20, 2024, marking a stark rise from 256 cases recorded in 2023.
