A multi-cultural rally was organised in the concluding day of the 35th biennial convention of the greater North Kokrajhar anchalik committee of Nath Yogi Sanmiloni held at Bhutiapara ground on Sunday in Kokrajhar district.
The biennial convention of the Sanmiloni was concluded on Sunday with two-day colourful programme scheduled at Bhutiapara ground in Kokrajhar. The convention discussed on various issue and demands of the Nath Yogi community, which are included re-formation of Nath Yogi development council in the state, provide proper facilities to gain community welfare, uplift of socio-economic for Nath Yogi community in the state.
Over thousand peoples from all walks of life from different community with traditional cultural instruments joined hands in the cultural rally was started from convention venue,was flagged off by Golok Chandra Nath,social activist. The rally traversed to Balajan,CIT,JD Road,Bhutiapara village and concluded at the started point.
Sanjit Kumar Nath,Sanmiloni leader said that the Nath Yogi community is still deprived from various developmental aspects and welfare schemes from the government. He has demanded proper community welfare facilities to gain community integration.
