Minors molested in Kokrajhar

Allegations arose against a fish trader in Kokrajhar town, who allgedly molested two-young maid servents. An FIR was lodged at Kokrajhar PS on Wednesday. Family member of accused trader also revealed the incident said that he had second marriage two months back.

The incident took place at Baganshali rented house in Kokrajhar and accused was identified as Nijendra Narzary, a fish trader in Kokrajhar bazar.

 Two young minor girls under 15 years of age of a familyfrom economically backward, hailed from Chariduar PS of Tejpur were molested by accused Narzary since few months at his rented house.The girls were brought by the family as maid servant since three-four years. The girls revealed that Narzary molested them during night and leisure hour when his wife goes out of house. He used to force them to work unsuited jobs while leading leisure hours.

They were brought on monthly payment for servant,but they could not get any money from him.They said that Narzary warned them not to intimate anybody about whole incident which was occurred on them. Accused Narzary  molested them many times, the girls told.

 An FIR lodged with police on Wednesday evening, registered  case no. 204/17 u/s POCSO 3&7 in Kokrajhar PS.

Wife of accused Narzary revealed the incident said that her husband had a misconduct over young girls,who were with them as maid.She said that her husband had a second marriage two-months back.

Chairperson of Kokrajhar CWC demanded early arrest of accused Nijendra Narzary,who penetrated inhuman act on minor girls since few months.She said that it was an act of unwanted for the society.

‘Investigation is on into incident. Accused person is absconding after the incident’, said a senior police officer in Kokrajhar.
