Hattigor Sahara club shines
At a mesmerizing cricket tournament held by cricket club, Harisingha under Udalguri district on Saturday, Hattigor Sahara club became the champions by winning the trophy of the tournament. The final match was played between Hattigor Sahara club vs Rajkhumbri school cricket club. The latter won the toss and decided to bat first but were knocked down with just 58 of 15 overs by the attacking bowlers of Hattigor Sahara club. In the second inning of the match Sahara club washed them with sixes and fours and made the team proud by lifting the winner’s trophy.
The match was organized by Cricket Club, Harisingha. The team won a cash prize of Rs. 7000 along with winner’s trophy. Many dignitaries of Harisingha attended and enjoyed the tournament. The presentation ceremony was awesome and Sanjay Shilla was given away man of the tournament, Bikash Nayak, man of the series and Gobindo B. Setty, all round player. It was a really great victory for Hattigor Sahara club as the team have reformed recently.

A woman was attacked by sharp blade by a group of unidentified miscreants at midnight of 13 June, the woman has been identified as Rashmita Tanti (50) wife of Kandhara Tanti an inhabitant of Budlapara Chowk under Dimakuchi PS of Udalguri district.
