Senior cardiologist of Apollo Hospitals Chennai, Dr KN Srinivasan conducted the last ‘Evening with a Doctor’ program at Guwahati Press Club (GPC) on Saturday (18 March). Personally checked the blood pressure of over 30 participants in the health camp, Dr Srinivasan advised some of them for further courses of treatment.
SN Farid, proprietor of Apollo Hospitals Information Centre, Guwahati along with Daizy Begum (nurse), Bijaya Laxmi Deka, Sibananda Borah, Raju Dutta and Gautam Barman extended supports in conducting the camp, where Apollo Hospitals executive Roopjyoti Barua was also present.
The next Saturday OPD clinic at press club will be conducted by Medanta-The Medicity Hospital. Dr Prasun Ghosh (Urology) and Dr Nabajit Talukdar (Cardiology) from the Gurgaon based healthcare institution will be available for free urology & cardiology related consultations.
Till date a number of practicing doctors from Dispur Hospitals, Narayana Super-Specialty Hospitals, GNRC Group of Hospitals, Down Town Hospitals, Sankaradeva Nethralaya Guwahati, Swagat Super-Surgical Institute, Wintrobe Hospital, Borthakur Clinic, Nemcare Hospital, Rahman Hospitals, Sun Valley Hospital, Sight First eye-clinic, Government Ayurvedic College, Institute of Dental Science & Research Centre etc attended the camps.
