Abducted trader rescued

Abducted trader Ranjit Dutta rescued today from Koilamoila in Chirang district after 11 days of his kidnapped from Bhawanipur. Dutta, a businesman in Kokrajhar, was kidnapped by unknown miscreants on February 21 from Bhawanipur under Kokrajhar PS. Kokrajhar police has intensified it's search operation against kidnappers after incident along district and it's adjoining areas.

Police rescued Dutta today from Koilamoila area under Amguri PS in Chirang district. Dutta has been admitted to Kokrajhar RNB civil hospital for medical in Kokrajhar. 'Dutta was rescued from Koilamoila area during search operation', said a senior police officer in Kokrajhar.
