Huge protest is back to Assam alleging lack of safety and security if women and girl in board day light. This time the epicentre is Jorhat town where some unidentified miscreants repeatedly trued to outrage the modesty of a college girl for a couple of days forcing the SFI activist to take resort to the social media to highlight the unsecured lives of girl and women in the street which had gone viral. Support are pouring in from various parts of the state to hit the streets demanding action against the eve teasers and miscreants.
Hundreds of students hit the streets in every district and sub divisional headquarters' on Wednesday in protest against the incident.
The protestors in Guwahati thronged Dighalupukhuri on Wednesday demanding action against the roadside miscreants who keep waiting to outrage the modest of girls.
They further skimmed minister Chandra Mohan Patoway for his insensible comments downplaying the entire sensitive incident. Pay wary calked it a publicity stunt by the girl triggering a massive protest across the state. Some protestors demanded his apology for making irresponsible comment on the issue.
