Udalguri police today apprehended one Gwmsar Basumatari (24) alias Gwhwra a,42 batch NDFB (S) cadre near Udalguri town.One 7.65 mm pistol,live ammunitions,magazine,mobile hand sets,PAN card,SBI debit card and Udalguri college students identity cards were recovered from his possession.

The students of Bhelakhuti LP school near Hattigarh in Udalguri district disappointed much finding no teachers in school on the day of India's 68th Republic Day recently as not a single teacher turned up in the school for hoisting the National Flag in the morning. All the students had to return home without hoisting the flag in the school campus. They also missed other activities of the Republic Day celebration on the day. Suspected NDFB held at Khoirabari

Police and army personnel stationed in Udalguri district apprehended one Rahul Daimari alias Mulungsa,alias D.Rwira suspected to be a NDFB(S) cadre at Khorabari in Bhergaon sub-division today morning.Security forces recovered one 7.65mm pistol two magazine and five live ammunitions from his possession.
