Tricolour hoisted at press club

Media fraternity and patriotic Guwahatians hoisted the national flag at Guwahati Press Club observing 68th Republic Day with all fervour and joy. Senior journalist Raman Bora hoisted the Tricolour and paid tribute to those martyrs who sacrificed their lives for India’s independence.

Earlier journalist Rupam Barua elaborated the significance of 26 January in the context of India’s freedom movement. The participants also joined in a procession after the flag-hoisting program.
