Christmas celebrated in Kokrajhar
Devotee and followers of Christian religion thronged at Churches to offer their prayer to lord Jesus Christ on the Merry Christmas Day celebration today in Kokrajhar district along with rest of the world on Sunday.
Christian people of all walks of life come out since morning to throng the church premises' for the special prayer in the morning on the birth anniversary of lord Jesus Christ. People in large number in Kokrajhar,heart of BTAD administrtion rushed to the Don Bosco Church,Baptist Town Church,Kadamtala,Northern Evengelical Lutheran Church,Mijink Nwgwr in the morning after the end of the midnight carol to mark the birth of the Jesus Christ.
Devotees and followers said that this is day of birth of Jesus,who took birth as king of peace in this world. Jesus brought peace and integrated among all sections of communities in the world, said an organiser of Merry Christmas at Nothern Evengelical Lutheran Church in Kokrajhar.
The merry Chirstmas was celebrated in different districts of BTAD and its adjoining areas with organising prayer sessions to mark the day.
