Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra is on a visit to Guwahati on Saturday a couple of days after the Assam government has named her as the brand ambassador of tourism.

The shining Bollywood star left straightly left for the Kamakhya temple and offered puja to the shrine of strength immediately after she landed at the Lokariya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in the morning. Then she left for Dispur to be welcomed by several cabinet ministers since she would focus the Assam tourism across the globe. She further is scheduled to hold a couple of meetings in the evening during her maiden visit to the north eastern state after she was announced as the tourism brand ambassador in Assam.
