Raas Mahatsov starts at Pathsala
The ongoing 41th Raas Mahatsov of Pathsala started from 14th November with colourfull programme. The event so far attracts huge number devotees from various parts of the state at 'Bhagawati Kshetra' Pathsala.
An art exhibition is also being organised with more than three hundred clay arts symbolising lord Krishna. The exhibition also Rhino killings, Jurassic Park, moving Idol of Dr. Bhupen Hazarika, Anaconda, 3D show, Fear of Ghost, Big Cave, Cutting of Trees are some special attractions. The Mahatsov will conclude on November 28.

Adjacent roads of Pathsala (Lasit Nagar) was blocked by a group of women demanding immediate reapair of the roads on Thursday morning. The group of local women came out from their homes to protests against deplorable roads near Anandaram Baruah Academy Schools & Colleges in the heart of Pathsala town. Two youth died on the spot in a fatal accident at Baghmara, Monday around 2.30 pm. The incident happened at Bajali when the duo's speeding motor cycle collided with a truck head on after hitting a cow near the Baghmara police station. The dead have been identified as Kumar Boro and Bhakta Boro both from Gargoan. The bodies meantime were shifted to the Barpeta Medical College for postmortem.
