Muslim fundamentalists backing instigating AMSU - VHP

Reacting to the demand for autonomous council for the people of ‘char’ areas of 14 districts of Assam by AMSU, North East VHP reacted how ‘AMSU dared making such a secessionist demand’. ‘There must be some sort of antisocial power most probably like Muslim fundamentalists who are indulged in destabilize the unity of the country’. Expressing serious concern over terming of the Guwahati High Court’s order as a ‘political statement’ by the AMSU leader. Mr. Barua said that the AMSU leader should be booked under contempt of court and the violation of the constitution of the country. The inner meaning of demanding Autonomous Council for the ‘char’ areas of 14 districts is nothing but an evil design of Islamic fundamentalists to disturb the unity and integrity of the peace loving people of Assam, Mr. Baruah added. ‘Had there been not any backing of antinational forces, the AMSU leader dare not to make such a serious comment against the esteemed High Court’.
