North East Celestial Diva Beauty Pageant Finale of on Nov 4

A grand finale of the North East Celestial Diva Beauty Pageant contest would be held at Bodofa Cultural complex on November 4 next in a grand manner in Kokrajhar, heart of BTAD administration.

The North East Celestial Diva Beauty Pageant, organised by Sunrise Production Society, Kokrajhar to haunt Beauty Pageant talents across the Assam as well as north eastern states.

A total of 16 contestants have been enlisted for grand finale from north esatern states in its semi-final round conducted in Kokrajhar in July last.

Addressing the Press Conference held at Kokrajhar Press Club in Kokrajhar on Friday, Neeta Basumatary,president and Pralay Dutta, vice-president cum Director of the Sunrise Production Society,Kokrajhar told that the Sunrise production society has been organizing the Beauty Pageant to haunt beauty talents across the region where over 400 participants took part in the auditions at different places in the entire north esatern states.They said that grand finale would be organized in a grand manner with multi-cultural showcasing with dancing and singing presentation.

They said that noted Bollywood actor Mahima Choudhury would be attending as Chief Judge in the grand finale on November 4 next, besides noted singer, dancer from across the region are attending which would be a grand programme. BTC Deputy Chief Kampa Borgoyary will grace as Chief Guest on the occasion that will mark grand showcase of indigenous dresses in the state. They appealed to all section sections of communities to cooperate the Grand Finale while bringing a grand success with entertainment showcasing of Beauty Pageant. Championship of the Beauty Pageant would be awarded cash 2 lakhs along with several gifts and she would be forwarded to participate in the Sriya Miss India contest, first runners and second runners-up will be given away cash 50,000 and 35,000 respectively while best designer would be awarded cash 50,000.

Five finalists out of the 16 contestant are from Kokrajhar district, included NilanjanaBrahma, Florina Hazoary, Debyolina Basumatary, Ankita Hasda, Manisha Dutta, Naina Saikia (Biswanath Chariali), Amdrea Kalongki (Shillong, Meghalaya), Sherlyn Narzary (Udalguri), Pardinan Mushahary (Baksa), Nivedita Saikia (Tejpur), Priyanka Pegu (Guwahati), Bidisha Borah (Dibrugarh), Madhusmista Saikia (Tejpur), Punam Chetry (Chirang), Puja Saikia (Nagaon) and Sweta Bhandari (Shillong, Meghalaya).
