Bhutan delegation visits BTAD

A four member delegation of Bhutan Royal Government led by Sonam Topgay, Secretary for Ministry of Home & Culture, Bhutan Royal Government met BTC deputy chief Kampa Borgoyary at Circuit House in Kokrajhar on Friday to discuss on friendship and co-operation along borders regions with BTAD administration.

The Bhutan delegation also held meeting with district and police administration, in separate manner where they discussed on the border management in between Assam (India) and Bhutan country.

Bhutan delegation also included Tashi Penjore,Director of Ministry of Home & Culture,Bhutan Royal Government.

Topgay,after the meeting with BTAD administration told that they discussed on the border management to gain peace and security along border region of BTAD districts.

‘We reach here to discuss to about law and order along with border districts coordination meetings in the region, border districts with BTAD-Kokrajhar,Chirang,Baksa and Udalguri.

‘To promote friendship between India-Bhutan,cooperation, peace and integration so that people living in the border area could be held peaceful atmosphere was prime vision of the meeting’, Topgay said.

Kampa Borgoyary,BTC deputy chief said Bhutan delegation team discussed on the prevailing situation along Indo-Bhutan border areas in region.Discussion was stressed to make strong relationship and cooperation in between India and Bhutan country.

‘We have been sharing information about all matter related to border management in between two country. We have over 300 kilometer of border area with Bhutan and many common issues in border areas through which both countries can build healthy integration’, said Kampa adding that they discussed over maintaining of law and order on peaceful and harmony in the region.
