Taking a dig at BJP, the Congress vice president said, "BJP wants to disrupt my 30 day trip to UP for the farmers. They have been filing cases against me. But my fight would continue.”
Before that accompanied by top AICC leaders, former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and APCC president Ripun Bora, Gandhi arrived at the Kamrup Chief Judicial Magistrate Court premises where he appeared to defend the defamation case filed against him by a RSS activist.
