Fuels crisis creates tension in Kokrajhar

Fuels crisis has been created resented among commuter and vehicle users in Kokrajhar, heart town of BTAD administration since few days due to some Oil depots closed their depots for not getting supply of Oils.

Crisis of fuels, especially Petrol has been affected customers, who are using two-wheeler, four wheelers facing hardships maintenance in their management as fuels along oil depots showing empty in the town since few four-five days. Sufficient supplying of fuels when will be take place along the oil depots, it is a big question among commuter and customers in the district.

There are five oil depots in the town and its adjoining areas, which included Assam Oil, Indian Oil, NRL, Esser, Bharat Petroleum; but most of them are seeing empty of oils. Citizens have to stranded long queue to fill fuel for their two-wheeler, four wheeler vehicles along the oil depots.

Citizen and commuters expressed their resented over crisis of petrol in the oil depots said that petrol empty showing to the depots has been created miserable for the citizens in the region.

Most of the oil depots seeing closed since few days, said commuters. Dealer of Assam Oil in Kokrajhar town told that the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has not been supplied oils to the depot, so we are not position to provide petrol and diesel. Sufficient oil supply to the depots would be taking place within more three or four days in the district, he added. “We are standing here to fill two wheeler or four wheelers along the oil depot in a long queue as oil depots are seeing closed for empty of fuels. We don’t know why petrol is showing crisis in Kokrajhar district since few days”, a customer said.

“We put our depot closed since few days due to non availability of oil supply from IOC. More days would be taking for making sufficient supply of oils in the district”, said an employee of Assam Oil depot.
