Kokrajhar is all set to celebrate 70th Independence Day on Monday with befitting programme scheduled at Govt HS & MP school ground in Kokrajhar,for which students from different school and police contingents are seeing busy while exercising parades to showcase to mark the celebration.
Madhav Prasad Sarma,Deputy commissioner ,Kokrajhar told that district administration has fully prepared to celebrate the Independence Day along with rest of the state. District administration clamped 144 CrPC in the district besides making vigil security arrangements with checking in all vehicular movement in the region.He also told that district administration has also kept closed eyes along the Indo-Bhutan border areas so that untoward incidents could be avoided. A total of 22 march past contingents, including 18 students contingents from schools of the district and police battalion jawans are taking march past exercises to showcase on the occasion with great enthusiastic environment.We have been taking good number of march past contigents on the occasion which are seeing in a healthy environment,said a police officer in the pardae ground.
"This time huge march past contigents are taking part in the march past exercise in the district to showcase onm the celebration.Police battalion jawan and armies are also showing good presentation bands.We hope that this time the celebration would be come out successfully in free and peacefully”, Adhikari said.
“District administration has fully prepared to celebrate nation occasion with day long programme scheduled in the district.All kinds of preparations have so far completes and proigrammes would be celebrated through proper manner involving social integration”, Sarma told.
