Comprising Chandra Mohan Patowary, Hitendra Nath Goswami, Keshab Mahanta, the team had to face the ire as they promised Rs 5 lakh ex gratia in addition to a government job to one of his family members. Local residents in large numbers surrounded the ministers and questioned them their role in the entire scheme of things.

“What forces the government to ignore the expert committee recommendation? If it so happens they why the government set up the panel?,” a local resident asked the ministers.
