Monsoon misery in Barpeta

A rising water level of the mighty river Bramhaputra wreaked no ness havoc in Barpeta in the form of flood where Bhogerpar and its adjoining areas have come under the surging waters. These areas with a considerable population have been remaining under water for the last 5 days. The situation is taking a grim turn as the water level refuses to recede. Adding the woes, the strong current of the surging waters have breached a ring rendering many people homeless. But nobody of the district administration has so far visited the helpless people.
