Digital India Training for government employees

Madhav Prasad Sarma, Deputy Commissiner, Kokrajhar inaugurated the Digital India Training programme for government employees under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship programme of Digital India, being organized at NIELIT centre in Kokrajhar on Friday.

Twenty government employees from different offices, included DC office,treasury,SP office,SDO(civil) from Gossaigaon and Parbatjhora attended the training.

A sixteen day training programme was organized by the National e-Governance Division and National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NEILIT) to impart training govt employees about implementation of governmental jobs and capacity building in the state as well country. Sarma expresses his hope that training will highlight knowledge building while implementing official jobs.

Madhav Prasad Sarma, DC said, “The training has been organized for govt employees to impart training on official jobs while implementing various governmental works. It will be benefitted for the employees while taking advantage of well equipped operation of governmental jobs”.

Rintu Das, Deputy Director of NEILIT, Guwahati centre said that it is fully training programme for government employees,of which first batch of the training starts from today.Kokrajhar NEILIT centre will training for 300 participants by two years,Das added.

This is an attempt of Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY), Government of India under a special scheme ‘Preparing North East for Digital India’. Under this flagship program of Government of India a total number of 4,400 Assam Government employees are to be trained through NIELIT CCC and NIELIT CCC+ courses in all the district of Assam within a period two years.

“This is a training for govt employees to impart training on official related jobs where participants would be trained on course on computer concept (CCC)”, Das added.

Shyamal Das,district information officer, Kokrajhar was also present on the occasion.
