Orientation programme for math and science teachers

Over 150 teachers from different schools of Kokrajhar and Chirang district participated in the orientation programme for Mathematics and Science graduate teachers being organized at Kokrajhar Govt College in Kokrajhar.

BTC executve member Doneswar Goyary inaugurated the programme on Wednesday, was organised by Internal Quality Assurance Cell(IQAC),Kokrajhar Govt College in collaboration with BTC education department.

A five day orientation workshop which has been kicked off from Wednesday, organised to impart training on Mathematics and Science among teachers to bringing qaulity education and gianing of pass percentage in HSLC and HS final examination in the region.Resource persons from concerning deaprtment have been given training during the programme highlighting edcational value among society in the region.

Goyary,in his speech urged the teachers community to be dedicated to create quality education and best results in the area through which society could see healthy growth.He hailed the workshop for the teachers of Mathematics and Science,which was very much need to gain educational atmosphere in the region as well across the state.Rabisangkhar Borgoyary,BTC education director,Jagadish Prasad Brahma,Inspetor of Schools,Kokrajhar graced as guests on the workshop with Dr Binay Kumar Brahma,Principal Kokrajhar Govt College in the chair.

Borgoyary said that the workshop has been aimed to create training for Mathematics and Science teachers in the region so that teachers could teach students in healthy and well manner in schools.

Dr Ambeswar Phukon,organiser told that the workshop will be imparting training teachers on Mathematiics and Science to bringing better results in HSLC and HS final examinations.The training would be extending support while creating qaulity education among students in the region.

‘We are organising the programme to imparting training on Mathematics and Science among teachers,who are teaching in schools in the districts . We have been trying to gain teaching quality through this programme and hope that this will facilitate more teaching services in the region’,Dr Phukon said.

Kokrajhar, May 2:  A search operation that began yesterday evening concluded today with the recovery of three bodies from the Beki River near Manas National Park in Baksa district. KOKRAHAR: A sense of alarm has gripped the Jharbari area after a timber smuggler was discovered dead in a firing incident during the early hours of the morning in Kokrajhar. The incident occurred along ride no. 1 under the Jharbari range of the Haltugaon forest division in Kokrajhar district, where the smuggler was fatally shot while transporting logs on a cycle from deep within the forest.
