RIP Balen Harizon

The body of CRPF jawan Balen Harizon (28) who was killed in Maoist's attack in Jarkhand reached his birthplace in Bajali on Sunday. The last rites were performed in presence of thousands of people.

Harizon was killed in an encounter with Maoists in the jungles of Patharchhapra in Giridih district, ‎Jharkhand‬ on Friday.  Harizon, son of Roghunath Harizon and Maloti Harizon of Gargaon in Bajali, is survived by his wife Barnali Harizon and son.

Adjacent roads of Pathsala (Lasit Nagar) was blocked by a group of women demanding immediate reapair of the roads on Thursday morning. The group of local women came out from their homes to protests against deplorable roads near Anandaram Baruah Academy Schools & Colleges in the heart of Pathsala town. According to them, The goverment failed to take development to the people.  The conditions of roads is very poor and people can't walk in the road in rainy season. Two youth died on the spot in a fatal accident at Baghmara, Monday around 2.30 pm. The incident happened at Bajali when the duo's speeding motor cycle collided with a truck head on after hitting a cow near the Baghmara police station. The dead have been identified as Kumar Boro and Bhakta Boro both from Gargoan. The bodies meantime were shifted to the Barpeta Medical College for postmortem.
