The All Bodo Students Union hails the Pune's Sarhad institute for taking up student's welfare activities means educational uplift for poor background students on free of cost.
Altogether 18 students age group of 4-15 years,16 from Saralpara of Kokrajhar and two from Bilasipara of Dhubri district left for Pune in June last year for higher studies under Sarhad institute through the guidance of the students union. The stuedents completed one year at Pune where they are taking higher studies at various classes. Most of the students who are taking higher studies at Pune are violence victims, poor family backgrounds in their living . The students completing their annual examination observed holiday and reached their respective home after a year and expressed their gratitude to the institute organizer and students union.
Aqib Shafi Bhat and Ilyas Khan, senior student and organizer of Pune Sarhad institute while reaching Kokrajhar along with students told that there are 130 students from different states of the country, included BTAD are giving free of cost education at Pune. Eighteen students from Kokrajhar and Dhubri district got selected to take study in the institute and they attended their annual examinations.The institute organisers have been managing higher education facilities for the students, who are got selected in the institute, they said.
Kastom Brahma, education secretary of the ABSU hailed the institute said that it is a laudable initiative taken from the Sarah to giving free of cost education for poor background students. He said that the students union sent 18 children coming from poor family through consulting and deep communication institute organisers on June last year. The students gathered their education and got opportunity to take higher studies at Pune, was a thanked job for the society, Brahma said.
