Mohilary appeals to vote for BPF candidates
BPF president Hagrama Mohilary hold his election campaign at Monakocha Fakiragram for party candidate Rabiram Narzary for Kokrajhar west LAC on Wednesday in Kokrajhar district. Mohilary, addressed a well attended gathering appealed to vote for party candidates to get good governance and social change in the state. He claimed that BJP led BPF-AGP alliance party is forming government at Dispur. He said that his party was working to the welfare of the common masses through which citizens are getting healthy situation. He has kept an appealed to all sections of communities to vote for party candidates. Rajya Sabha MP Biswajit Daimary also addressed the campaign said that this time BJP led alliance party forming government as irrespective of cast, creed and languages are supporting alliance party across the state.

The 7th edition of the northeast Butterfly meet was concluded at Raimona National Park in Kokrajhar district on Wednesday. Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) Executive Member for Forest & Environment Ranjit Basumatary inaugurated the event at Kachugaon.

Professor Indira Boro, head of the department of Bodo for Bodoland University, has been named for an award from the Sahitya Akademy for translation in Bodo language.
Dr. Boro has been named for the translation of her book Hirimba (originally written in Assamese by Jayanti Gogoi)

BPF chief Hagrama Mohilary was granted bail on Saturday and released against case CR 34/2020, accused of section 120-B/500 IPC from CJM court in Kokrajhar.
Pramod Boro, the president of the United People’s Party of Luwahati, filed a complaint against Mohilary, the former chief of Bodoland Territorial Council, at the court of CJM Kokrajhar for making derogatory remarks about him in February 2020.
The bail was granted by Kokrajhar's chief judicial magistrate.
