NDFB-S celebrates 29th Boroland Army Raising day
The Songbijit faction of the National Democratic Front of Boroland (NDFB-S) once again show their well-built strength of the organization. The militant outfit organisation observed 29th Boroland Army Raising day at an undisclosed soil on Saturday.
In a press statement issued by President of the NDFB (S) B Saoraigwra said that the outfit observed the day at an undisclosed soil with very gutty where outfit members dance with guns on their hands.
Saoraigwra stated that though the state and central government launched Operation All Out against the outfit, but ‘the operation has not success whereas the militant outfit in able to observe the day very warmly with their large number of cadres, he said.
He also stated that Assam DGP Khagen Sarma, had claimed that during the time of 2015 Operation All Out over 500 cadres were arrested and 50 cadres were killed in encounter,but these all were totally false and fake in the name of operation.
The statement also said over 99 percent encounter of NDFB were fake and drama of the operation.
He also said that the fake encounter against anti-insurgency operation has been increasing in Boroland area, where as the report from National Human Right Commission (NHRC) the Assam state has third position in encounter death.
It also mentioned how some police persons in Assam are involved in extortion and dacoity cases. He particularly mentioned the name of Rangia officer in-charge Bhupan Das, who was recently arrested for his involvement in robbery case.
The rebel leader also stated that the indigenous people, who are the son of the soil wants to live in peace in ‘our inherited land with dignity and with a distinct identity of our language, culture and tradition customs.
'We have our identity, language and rich cultural heritage and want to protect and safeguard within ourselves as we are separate part of the Indian community’, the statement read.

The Kokrajhar district administration steps up measures to ensure safety and security to the people after the carnage of Adivasi peoples by NDFB (Songbijit). The All Assam Adivasi Students Union on Wednesday blocked the railway in Gossaigaon in protest against the NDFB-S carnage in Kokrajhar and Sonitpur on Tuesday.Hundreds of Adivasi people squatted on the railway tracks and prevented the movement of several trains through Gossaigaon. The blockade ended after nearly four hours disrupting the train service. Kokrajhar police have denied triple explosions in the BTAD district on Monday. Talking to reporters on Tuesday, SP Sunil Kumar confirmed only the Patgaon explosions where three persons sustained injury.
