Hundreds of people both from Adivasi and Bodo community have been taking shelter at SSB camps at Saralapara and Ultapani a day after NDFB-S militants unleashed violence in the area killing 25 people on Tuesday evening.
Talking to reporters, Kokrajhar police said that 5 bodies were recovered from Pakhriguri in Serfanguri. Twelve in
Ultapani along with eight others from Lungsung area bordering Bhutan.
At least 10 injured people have been battling for life in the hospitals in Kokrajhar and Bongaigaon. Police on Wednesday morning recovered 2 empty cartridges of AK 47 rifles from Ultapani area.

Ultapani, Saralpara and Lungsung area and took stock of the situation on Wednesday. Talking to Assam Times, officials said that administration has taken stern measures to deal with these incidents. He said that the situation was under
control.
