Say no to farmer suicide

Stunned by the repeated incidents of farmer suicide, Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on Sunday asked Chief Secretary VK Pipersenia to probe into the circumstances responsible for the suicide of Dibakor Kalita in Nalbari district on Sunday. 

In an order, Gogoi asked the Chief Secretary to find out the reasons behind the suicide of Dibakar Kalita of Tihu area. The chief minister also asked the farmers to contact the Deputy Commissioners if they face any problem. The deputy commissioners have been asked to resolve farmers' issues immediately.
