Arunachalese to seek Chinese help!

An influential student body in Arunachal Pradesh threatened to take the resort of China in protest against the Supreme Court’s recent judgment for citizenship to the Chakma-Hajong refugees.  Talking to reporters in New Delhi on Saturday, AAPSU leader Gumjum Haider said that they would have no option but to take help of foreign country for intervention at a time when China has been claiming the north eastern state.

The apex court last month asked the government to grant citizenship to Chakma and Hajong refugees who had been rehabilitated in the state in 1964-69 after they fled their homes in Bangladesh.
