Bardwi Shikla beat Bongaigaon XI STAR

Bardwi Shikla SC from Kachugaon beat Bongaigaon XI Star Club 2-1 and entered into final in the Daoharu Mungklong Trophy in Thursday’s match at Dotma ground in Kokrajhar. Bardwi Shikla will take on ASEB, Guwahati in the final match on Friday. 

For Bardwi Shikla, Birbal Narzary scored first goal in 26 minutes and Okrang Narzary scored another goal in 56 minutes. Badham Das of Bongaigaon reduced a goal scoring in 68 minutes and lost to Bardwi Shikla 2-1. 

Meanwhile, Dihung SC from Kagrabari beat Dotma DASA 2-0 in the Tikendra Brahma and Aolang Brahma memorial football trophy being played at Kagrabari ground in Kokrajhar. 

For Dihung, Mushuka Narzary and Probin Basumatary scored one each goal in 56 minutes and 78 minutes respectively.

A class IX student of Dotma High School, who has been went missing since January 5 last has yet  to trace out till now. Accotding to family source,the student identified as Ranen Brahma(13),son of Bipul Mahan Brahma of Shymdarpara,went missing since January 5 when after visit to school and since then no any information whereabout was reached so far. Security forces belonging to police and army in a joint operation managed to arrest an active cadre of NSLA (anti talk faction) from Serfanguri area today in Kokrajhar district.  The cadre was identified as Robvan Hembram@Chunda.  A 7.65 pistol and a live bullet was recovered from him.
