Mahalaya observed in Kokrajhar

Kokrahar observed Mahalaya with traditional religious fervor on Monday to mark the count down to the Durga puja celebration. Devotees thronged in hundreds at at the Brahma Mandar in Kantalguri early in the morning to witness the religious formality.

Priest Sachindra Basumatary performed Brahma Jogyahuti at  Kantalguri village by offering prayers to the almighty god for peace and harmony among all sections of communities in the region.
