Tejaswi kicks off in Golaghat
The health and family welfare department and National Health Mission in Golaghat jointly launched the mission Tejaswi has started in the district on Saturday.
The scheme to remove anaemia was launched by joint director for health and family welfare, Dr AK Borthakur where on Saturdays and Wednesdays in October, the children and pregnant women would get iron syrups and tablets. He said special measures would be taken to cover the remote and backward areas of the district.

The Golaghat district administration on Tuesday asked the tea garden managements to clear the bonus to the workers by October 5. Deputy Commissioner Anarul Haque on Tuesday issued the order after a meeting with the various tea group owners.
