Assam DGP Khagen Sarma on Tuesday gave hint of an increasing interest of ISIS in the state.
Talking to reporters in Guwahati, Sarma said people having internet access have been anxious to know ISIS activities. Sarma said, “Assam is on higher side like Jammu and Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh if the internet search is to be believed.
According to him, CID and National Technical Research Organisation have been is monitoring the internet.
A Special Leave Petition under Article 136 of the Constitution of India has been filed in the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India by advocate Arif Jwadder.
