A sweltering heatwave disrupted normal life in Golaghat along with other parts of the state during the last couple of days.
Two students fell unconscious inside the class room at the Residential Girls' Polytechnique on Saturday. Both the girls fell unconscious under the heat wave as they were attending their classes. Later they were taken to KK Civil Hospital.
