IITian found dead

A B Tech student is believed to have committed suicide in the morning leaving the Guwahati IIT in utter shocked on Friday.
Identified as Ujjal Salil, the body of student from Bihar was found at the campus early in the morning. The inmate of the Brahmaputra Hostel was suspected to have jumped to the ground.

Police recovered the body and investigation is going on. This is the third such tragic incident at the country’s premier seat of science and technology in Guwahati during the last 12 months.

Last year in the same month i.e. on 14/09/2014 our son Tushar Yadav was also found dead behind his room in Kameng Hostel, before we reached there from Delhi IIT Guwahati declared it as suicide. Same thing happened in today"s case.  After our strong oppose case of conspiracy and murder was registered since then Police and IIT Guwahatidid nothing at yet, we at our level providing evidences, activities of suspects but all in vain. You the media also continuously describing as suicide why? On that day you the media failed to did your duty to find out facts then wrote such thing. If you did that in so hurry then why not you published the story of conspiracy and murder. This IIT has continue taking life of young engineers no media no ngo no political system no UGC no NHRC no Court take notice of it. We the grieved parents of Tushar can understand the loss that the family of Ujjal Shailabh have to bear through whole life, what else we can say   Narender Singh ( Gurgaon)

Veteran journalist, prolific writer and socio economic and political analyst Jatindra Kumar Borgohain passed away on Wednesday following a brief illness.Borgohain died two died at the Hayat Hospital at around 2-50 in the afternoon two days after he was rushed to it following a serious ailment. Despite best “possible” treatment, he failed to recuperate. He was 72.Borgohain, who hailed from Jakhalabandha area in Nagaon district started his career of service as an assistant professor of economics in JB College. ULFA has charged Dibrugarh police with masterminding the powerful blast that rocked the town on Tuesday leaving a schoolgirl. In a statement issued a day after the explosion at Amulapatty, the outfit made it clear that they had no role in the incident. The outfit called it a handiwork of police. Identified as Purnima Rajat, the Class X girl died on the spot as the blast took place. Five people--- left injured in the blast, were rushed to AMCH.
Security forces claimed to have recovered the bodies of two SSB constables a week after the duo were kidnapped by the suspected NEFB-S militants.          The bullet ridden bodies were spotted along the Indo-Bhutan border on Thursday.         Two more skeletons were also recovered from the same spot.
Security forces have rescued 4 tea garden workers 12 hours after suspected NSCN-K militants kidnapped them at gunpoint in Moriani.             Identified as Damu Gour,Maina Baishya, Amar Praja and Bijen Goala, they were rescued from a dense jungle during a combing operation along the Assam-Nagaland border on Wednesday night.               They were kidnapped by gunmen in the morning from a tea plantation site in Rongkham and demanded Rs 1.5 lakh for their release forcing a combing operation in the jungle.
Security forces, engaged in the counterinsurgency operation in Dima Hasao district, achieved a major success when a dreaded militant was captured on Wednesday.       Identified as David Kemprai, the 45 year old Action Dimasa leader was held during a combing operation in Mahur in the afternoon.         Kemprai was the main culprit behind the killing of Rajiv Pathak, the PHE executive engineer in Haflong who was shot dead by militant inside his chamber two months back.

Despite strict vigil, Naga miscreants continue to unleash terror in Moriani along the Assam-Nagaland interstate-border.                    Suspected NSCN-K militants kidnapped four workers from  their workplace on Wednesday morning.           The incident took place at Rankham where armed militants took away the workers at gunpoint.          Search operation is in progress.
