North East Food Processing and Technology Summit 2015 will be held on September 19 at the NEDFi Convention Centre, Guwahati. The main objectives of “North East Food Processing and Technology Summit” is to build capacities of local entrepreneurs and industry in the Northeastern Region by bringing in Modern techniques in order to attain commercial competencies and an optimal exploitation of the vast array of crops grown in the region. 

Minister of State, Food Processing Industries Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, will be the Chief Guest in the event.

Jyotiprasad Medhi Award in Mathematical Sciences Announced

Professor Jyotiprasad Medhi was a world renowned scholar in Statistics who was born on 1st July 1924 in Ramdia, Assam. He received his D.Sc.
