Curious UFO in sky!

An unidentified object hovering around the sky in upper Assam pulled no less spell of curiosity among lakhs of people on Wednesday evening.

Much to the utter surprise and curiosity, the comet like object was spotted in the sky in and around the Naharkatiya area at around 9 in the evening forcing the people to come out of their homes to watch the strange objects. But there was no conclusion even from the experts.

The same object struck the heavy attention of the people in Dibrugarh district on Tuesday night.

 

Meanwhile, ISRO officials in Shillong told Assam Times that they were not aware of such objects in the sky. But they said if it is spotted it might be drones.

whether ISRO or NASA they will never confess that ufos are of extraterrestrial origin...i have witnessed an ufo from the front yard of my house in jorhat,assam, india on 23rd june 2015...the ufo hovered for about 40mins and finally shot off at lightning speed into the night sky..it can travel at the blink of an eye and i dont think that a drone has that technology...if drones can accelerate at lightning speed then we sud able to go for interstellar travel sitting in a drone itself..whatever i saw was nothing made on earth..nothing made om earth has technology to accelerate away and shot off at the speed of lightning

Yes. I live in dibrugarh 2days after this event i saw a ufo around 8pm while i was talking to my friend on phone suddenly i heard a loud noise and the phone's signal was lost.my frined too heard ths noise. I looked up and i saw a big ufo with purple light hovering on top of me. I quickly went inside and called my mom and sister. When they came it went away in a lighting size and became like a star but was moving very fast. My friend also saw the ufo

Anger over non performanc​e

A section of ministers has come in for sharp critism for alleged under performance. A circle of ministers and MLAs, known for waging war against Tarun Gogoi and a few of his trusted men, came down heavily on the non performing ministers. Those who vented anger agaist Gogoi's men were Pradan Barua, Piyush Hazarika. Assam Cong MLAs meet in Dispur

A brainstorming legislature party meet of Assam Congress is trying to sort out differences among a section of ministers and MLAs. The crucial meet, first time in the history, has begun at the Assam assembly premises at 10 in the morning on Saturday where a section  ofMLAs and ministers stressed expedited development process to woo the voters in the upcoming general elections. The ministers and MLAs, known to be closed to dissident leader Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma were expected to vent open anger against chief minister and a few of his associates. But there is hardly any possibility in view of high command's instruction to keep quiet.

APCC to Himanta

Dissident ministers and MLAs held a number of meetings to clear strategies to corner chief minister Tarun Gogoi and his trusted ministers in the CLP meet on Saturday. The chief minister also is in touch with some influential leaders to overpower the dissident camp. Senior MLAs Sarat Borkotoky and Anjan Dutta are likely to back Gogoi. But they want an immediate reshuffle in the council of ministers. Nobody from AICC is there in the meeting.

JFA expresses grave concern at news channel closure

Journalists’ Forum Assam (JFA) has expressed grave concern at the shut down of Prime News by its management leaving more than 170 employees including journalists jobless. Extending supports to various protest demonstrations organized by the Electronic Media Forum Assam (EMFA) against the closure notice of the 24x7 satellite news channel, the JFA has urged the State chief minister Tarun Gogoi to intervene on the mater for the benefit of the affected employees of Prime News.The employees of the Guwahati based private news channel, lately run by the Suresh Prithani owned Brahmaputra Infrastructure private limited, had informed that the news channel was shut down on October 1 citing the reason...

Grenade blast in Diphu

A grenade explosion seems to have oozed no less panic in Diphu during the 24-hour long KNLA-sponsored Karbi Anglong bandh on Friday.The explosion took place beside a petrol pump at the Manja Market in the evening. No one has been injured in the blast and nobody has seen the miscreants who lobbed the grenade.The seizure of a UPLF demand letter from the spot suggests the involvement of the insurgent outfit.

The Assam Government has appointed Binod Sessan as as the temporary chairman of the Board of Secondary Education, Assam. The appointment has come into force from Friday. A string of sensational disclosure has come to light in the chargesheet in the Gadapani Pathak murder case.In its charge sheet, CID has named 12 people, including KLO militants and contractors. The charge sheet has disclosed a Rs 50 lakh deal with KLO for releasing Faizul Islam.Pathak, a Superintending Engineer in the Agriculture department was abducted by suspected KLO militants along with another Agriculture department official Faizul Islam on May 2, 2012. 3 NDFB militants nabbed

Bagsa police have arrested three hardcore NDFB militants on Friday.The militants were captured from Salbari area when they were on the way to extort money from a businessman.Four militants reached a construction to extort money from the contractor. In the absence of the contractor, they asked his assistants to pay money and left the spot. Later, the local residents overpowered them and after being assaulted the trio were handed over to police.
