Teachers’ Day in Barpeta

Barpeta district observed the teachers day along with other parts of the country marking the birth anniversary of Dr S Radhakrishnan on Saturday. Speakers at the central function organized in the District Library urged the teachers to help the country progress. Additional deputy commissioner presided over the function.
