Trouble for Cong disisdents

 Dissident Congress leaders have been camping in New Delhi to carry forward their further course of action. According to sources, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma who is taking the lead will help them meet BJP president Amit Shah in the capital on Saturday.

The dissident MLAs include Kripanath Malla, Piyush Hazarika, Jayanta Malla Baruah, Palab Luchon Das, Balin Chetia, Mansingh Rongpi, Pradan Baruah who left for New Delhi in the after.

Hours after them Dr Sarma also left for the capital. Notably, the sitting Congress MLAs have been finding it difficult to get assurance of tickets to contest the assembly polls early next year in the face of resistance from a circle of senior Assam BJP leaders.
