Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi said that Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma’s entry into BJP will put the people in utter confusion over the chief ministerial candidate.
Hours after Dr Sarma unofficially joined BJP, Gogoi said that if Sarma is made the chief ministerial candidate then what is in store for Sarbananda Sonowal and Siddharth Bhattacharya.
Talking to reports Gogoi wondered why and how Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma joined BJP a day after he was proud of his party’s victory in the Tiwa autonomous council polls.

Senior political leader T Biren Singh took oath as Manipur Chief minister at a function in Imphal on Wednesday. Governor Dr Najma Heptulla administered him the oath of office and secrecy at the Raj Bhawan in presence of many BJP leaders.BJP president Amit Shah could not attend the function because of unavoidable reasons.
